Have had 2 customers in the past week with disk reading issues. One was a original PS5, the other was a newer PS5 Slim version. Original PS5 would stop playing after an hour of playtime on the disk, didn’t matter what game or PS5 game or PS4 game it all did the same thing…stopped working. Had to replace the drive and swap over board inside disk reader to get that one going. The PS5 Slim on the other hand has broken pieces of the disk reader inside causing it to make horrible grinding noises and obviously did not work. WE had to replace the entire drive for that model as well. Watch out on what you put into your disk readers or it can STOP working! Have you had any issues?
